This page lists every cookie that nordhal.dk can set, what each one is for, how long it lasts, and whether we need your permission first. It sits alongside our privacy policy, which covers personal data more generally.
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep. Some are needed for the site to work at all. Others are there to count visits. We do not use cookies for advertising.
Nothing is stored until you choose. When you first open the site you get a strip at the bottom of the page with two buttons. Until you press one of them, no cookie is set and no analytics code is loaded. Declining is one click, exactly like accepting.
Strictly necessary cookies
These make the site work, and one of them exists only because the law says we have to remember your cookie choice. They are exempt from the consent requirement, so you cannot switch them off here. Blocking them in your browser will still work, but you will be asked about cookies on every page.

That is the only one. Our web host does not set a cookie of its own on this site, and we have checked that.
Statistics cookies
These are set by Google Analytics 4 and only after you press Allow statistics. If you decline, or if you simply have not answered yet, the Google Analytics code is never loaded and neither of these cookies is created.

The two year figure is Google's own default for these cookies. We do not use Google Analytics to work out who you are, and we have not linked it to Google Ads or to any advertising product. Analytics data of this kind can still count as personal data about you, which is why it needs your consent and why it is described in the privacy policy as well.
Google Ireland Limited acts as our processor. Some of this data reaches Google in the United States, which Google covers with the EU and US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
What we do not use
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No profiling, and no automated decisions about you.
- No social media pixels, including no LinkedIn or Meta tracking.
- No tag manager, no embedded video, no third party fonts or widgets that could set a cookie behind our back.
- We do not sell or pass on anything a cookie collects.
How to change your mind
You can withdraw your consent at any time, and it is as easy as giving it was. Withdrawing does not make what happened before unlawful, but it stops anything further.
- Reopen the choice. Open cookie settings and press whichever button you want. If you switch to Necessary only, we delete the Google Analytics cookies straight away.
- Clear them in your browser. Deleting cookies for nordhal.dk removes your saved choice too, so you will be asked again on your next visit.
- Turn Google Analytics off everywhere. Install the Google Analytics opt out browser add on, which blocks it on every site you visit, not just ours.
We ask again after twelve months in any case, which is the interval the Danish Data Protection Agency recommends.
Changes to this page
If we add or remove a cookie, this page changes with it and the date at the top tells you when that happened. If we ever add a new category of cookie, we will ask for your consent again rather than assume the old answer still stands.
